While being a member of Toastmasters International for 9 years, Bill has served at both the local level as President and currently as V.P. of Membership, and at the District Level as Area Governor, Division E Governor, Lt. Governor Marketing & Lt. Governor of Education & Training. Bill has trained & overseen the educational programs of the Toastmaster International in 5 states, with responsibility for over 2100 Toastmasters.
Bill is a professional salesman and has spent 30 years as a heavy equipment salesperson. Bill is presently the V.P. of Operations for All-Trax Equipment in Baltimore.
Bill's speech will focus on how to give a great technical speech. Bill will walk the members of the Carroll Technical Council through the steps in how to write the speech, how to get the audience involved in the speech, tips on giving the speech, importance of pauses, body language, and vocal variety. Bill believes that every speech is a winning speech, as long as the speaker practices, practices, practices.
