Lynn met with Steve Kozak of the Greater Baltimore Tech Council to discuss ways to assist in our growth. Steve has given Carroll Tech Council the opportunity to co-host a Spring Winetasting event. GBTech will extend member benefits to CTC members to attend at $20 rate, and will allow one or two of our members to be winepourers. Cost for winepourer spot is $300. Wonderful opportunity to network.
Elections
First ballot scratched as nominations changed. Staggering board appointments necessitates four current Board Members terms end this year. New candidates can be submitted up to end of meeting today. New ballot will be emailed. Voting is anonymous. Suggestion was made by Bob Cage for online voting with ballot validation process. Will be looked into for next year's elections.

Speaker – Sgt. Dave Valentine and Barb Schmidt

Mobile Command Center

The Mobile Command Center is owned by the Sheriff's Office, and has been set up with a grant for Homeland Security. Dave researched and set up the specifications for this Command Center, which was commissioned October 20, 2004. It is set up for 50 continuous hours of service. It can serve as an office, communications center, and unified command center for natural disasters, missing person searches, barricade / hostage negotiations, and critical incident operations. Requests for attendance at community events should go to Sheriff Tregoning.
