Media Workshops Offered by CMC
Westminster, Maryland (April 8, 2010) - The Community Media Center (CMC) is offering the following free media workshops during the month of April 2010.
April 21st at 6 pm at the Community Media Center
The community is invited to learn about your local PEG access center and how you can produce and edit video for television and the web. Orientation covers how to become a certified producer and the multiple uses of public access.
April 24 at 10 am at the Community Media Center
CMC members are invited to attend the Basic Certification workshop which includes learning to operate digital video cameras, audio equipment, and non-linear video editing.
April 28st at 1 pm at the Carroll Nonprofit Center
Representatives from the nonprofit community are invited to a presentation by local blogger Kevin Thornton as part of the CMC's nonprofit social media training series.
