Carroll Marketing Professionals Group to Host Social Media for Mobile Applications Presentation
Westminster, Maryland (March 29, 2010) - The Carroll Marketing Professionals Group will host a lunch and learn presentation on the integration of social media and mobile applications featuring Vince Buscemi, Vice President of Mindgrub Technologies, on Tuesday, April 20th from 12:30 - 2 pm at the Community Media Center in Westminster.
Buscemi has been spearheading integration of social media and mobile application development for a number of years bringing many applications to market including iPhone apps for Baltimore's Blue Sky Factory, 600 Block, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore Co. (UMBC). Most recently Buscemi lead the effort to implement viaPlace's Location Based Services (LBS) for California's Sonoma County and is currently working on mobile applications for China and Iran through the Voice of America (VOA). Vince leads the charge to engage local and national communities in the facilitation of Location Based Experiences (LBE) for Convention and Visitor's Associations through Mindgrub's CVB Mobile division (www.cvbmobile.com) and is bringing apps to market for College and Universities across the county.
Buscemi has been featured in several articles and technical journals and shares his expertise regularly at various speaking engagements including the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference, Greater Baltimore Technology Council (GBTC), Northeastern Maryland Technology Council (NMTC), Refresh Baltimore, The Baltimore Washington Tech Meetup, and has been a guest speaker on NPR, WYPR and WEAA.
