LOCATE Is a Great Way
to Promote Carroll Businesses
Whether you are established in your business location or you are moving to a new location, chances are, at some point, you will be reconfiguring your computer workstation or upgrading your office technology and you may need some help. It is very challenging to keep up-to-date with all of the advances in computer hardware and software products that are on the market today so you may not know how to proceed with your project. Finding the best technology expert to advise and assist you with the technology purchases or projects that you face in business every day is often the very first challenge that you will face.
List of Carroll Area Technology Expertise
To help you with the task of finding reputable technology services vendors we have partnered with the Carroll Technology Council to create an online technology resources and vendor listing called LOCATE (List of Carroll Area Technology Experts). This listing is hosted on the Carroll Technology Council website at www.carrolltechcouncil.org. Look for and select the LOCATE tab.
The idea is to have a local technology resource guide of companies and consultants that can help you with any and every technology project. Over 50 area businesses and individuals are already listed on the website under categories such as Website Design/Website hosting, Information Technology Services (Hardware or Software), Digital Media, and Technology Training. The categories are described and the category list denotes how many resources are in each category. LOCATE has been recently updated with new searchable features and a unique section that allows companies to list specials and make important announcements about their firms.
Membership Benefits
This partnership with the Carroll Technology Council is also an endeavor to help get the word out about all of the technology companies and services that are available in the county. One of the new website improvements is that companies can now establish a company account and password. Future changes to the company listing are in control of the company account manager and can be made online.
We certainly want to encourage all technology vendors and service providers to list on LOCATE and join the Carroll Technology Council (CTC). Some of the special features of LOCATE, like the Specials and Announcement section and adding company logos, are only available to CTC members. We hope the creation of this technology resource will be a great benefit to the entire community.
