Carroll Technology Council
Announces New Board of Directors
The Carroll Technology Council is pleased to announce it's newly elected Executive Team and Board of Directors.
Ron Harrington, incoming President, presided over the first meeting of the new Board on Wednesday, November 30th, held at Carroll Community College. He set forth goals and priorities for the Tech Council, noting that it is in a great position to move forward with its new leadership.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Board Members whose Board Membership terms had expired. Among those were Karen Merkle, Vice President of Continuing Education and Business at Carroll Community College.
Outgoing President, Josh Kohn Stated,
“Ron Harrington, the new incoming President, is the type of person the Tech Council needs to keep the momentum going. We are at the crest of the wave, and we need to get to the top and ride it.“

Larry Twele, Director of Carroll County Economic Development, stated in a letter to Lynn Karr, Director of the Tech Council,
“We are very excited about the initiatives that the Carroll Tech Council has undertaken to advance technology in Carroll County. Our partnership will continue to build the link between the local technology community and its importance to economic development.”
A grant from Carroll County Economic Development will assist the Tech Council in meeting its mission: To provide leadership, information and resources to educate, attract and influence technology in Carroll County.
