Carroll Technology Council
Announces Two New Board Members
Educational Board Member, Gary Davis, is the Chief Information Officer for Carroll County Public Schools. He joined the school system in January 2002 after working for 16 years in the educational software industry with ACT, Inc., most recently as Director of IT.
Agriculture Board Member, Mike Bell, has been the Extension Educator of Agricultural Science at the Carroll County office for the Maryland Cooperative Extension, University of Maryland since 1994. He has also had over twenty years of college level teaching experience.
The Carroll Technology Council was created in 2001 as part of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce to prepare Carroll County for the future. In 2003, the Tech Council became an independent 501 (c) 3. With a mission to promote, support, attract and influence technology in the county, it serves a crucial educational and advocacy role in technology awareness and development campaigns.
