Quantum Internet & Telephone (Qis.net) is a locally owned and operated Internet and telephone service provider based in Manchester, MD. NoWorriesIT is a Westminster-based IT solutions company, focusing on small businesses in Carroll, Frederick, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore Counties as well as South Central Pennsylvania. The company is located in the Airport Business Airpark on Aileron Court. Founding the company as docuMacs, Inc., a graphic design company in the early 1990s, President Don McCombie developed an expertise with Mac computers and discovered that he was often servicing many of the printing companies he used as vendors! He gradually transitioned docuMacs from a graphic design company to Mac-based IT company.
Eventually McCombie realized that in order to grow his business he would need to expand his services. Once he began networking both PC and Macs, he moved beyond the printing and graphic arts industries, and NoWorriesIT was born.
NoWorriesIT has a staff of five technicians and administrative personnel, as well a summer intern. NoWorriesIT has instituted a Recycling Computers for Charities program, where twice a year non-working computers are collected, sanitized, and taken to a recycling center for a cash rebate. Then NoWorriesIT matches the cash amount and donates the total amount to one of two local charities: The Arc Carroll County or Neighbors In Need. The Recycling Computers for Charities program will be open to the public in 2012.
