CompuKids, Robotics and TechWorks
The Carroll Technology Council is proud to provide these community services. The CompuKids program has provided over 700 computers to families that just can’t afford to provide their children with a home computer. Children just can’t compete without one. This program has boosted the morale of the Tech Council for years. And if we can help it….many more years to come. Techworks, our newest program, was created as a resource for adults who fulfill program requirements through DORS and BERC, allowing us to help adults breach the digital divide.
We also love robots. So, when a school is in need of money or technical assistance for their VEX and FIRST robotic events, the Carroll Tech Council is there. Nonprofits love the Tech Council too. Since our location at the Carroll Nonprofit Center in 2006, we have had the privilege of helping many organizations set up shop. From computers to networking, we have helped many. As a matter of fact, we have helped every nonprofit agency in our building!
